i was just taking opinions on when you snow board guy or girls do you wear snow pants and a jacket or do you go one piece snow suit
Definitely snow pants and a jacket. A lot of companies that sell Snowboarding Clothes like Burton, Columbia, and DC, have snap buttons that connect the jacket and pants together, to help keep snow getting inside. Have fun boarding!
Goggles are built with anti-fog features: anti-fog coating, sealed double lenses, vents, even fans.
If your goggles are fogging up, then your goggles don’t have enough of these features – the double lenses are the biggest help. You may just need a better model – my favorite is Bolle. This is all you can do to make them work better:
- Make sure you never touch the inside of the goggles
- Make sure your hat or helmet isn’t blocking the top vents
- Don’t take them on and off, it changes the temp causing fog
I’m planning to go out and learn some Snowboarding this winter. Im going to go once or twice and see if I like it and then Im planning on ordering some gear for myself. This is the list I have and I was wondering if anyone can give me any suggestions, if its good, or have any reviews on the products?
Just for info, im 17, and im 6 feet 4 inches so this stuff is kinda big haha. Thanks
I have around 700 to spend and the total comes somewhere close to that. Thanks again for any info.
that is nice stuff and great for a beginner. burton would be the best brand. if your ok with spending that much money then buy it but you might want to wait and just rent the board bindings and boots to see if you like snowboarding and you should think abouthow often you will go snowboarding.if your still growing a lot then you will grow out of all that stuff and need all new gear in a year or two.
How?
I heard you can’t wash it in detergent because it ruins the waterproofing.
That’s not exactly true, but I would suggest one of 2 options.
Read the washing instructions tag on the actual clothing and follow it or
Go to a dry cleaners and then use a spray on waterproofing agent.
I do know that it is suggested to put Snowboarding Clothes in the dryer at a low setting to reactivate the water repellent already in the clothing.
