This lesson also covers what fitness level you need to have to snowboard, the proper snowboard sizing and snowboard bindings, how to strap into the board and learn the basic body position, what to do with your hands, and how to place yourself in the perfect neutral riding position. In the second half of the video, Derek tackles snowboarding 101 and successfully attempts a jump…well, sort of. It is actually someone else in his Snowboarding Gear, not the snowboarding pants or boots just the snowboarding jacket and goggles! The pros show Derek how to maneuver the mountain in arrays of five riders, display their pro snowboarders stance and setup, and play snowboarding games with the cameraman.
