We’re going snowboarding for a week for my birthday.
I really like punk music and i’m pretty sure that I’ll get a few records, but I don’t know what to ask for as my main present, you know?
I’d ask for a snowboard setup, but my style keeps changing and I have growth spurts all the time so it wouldn’t really make any sense, I’d end up having to buy a new one – besides, the season is almost halfway through.
I’m not really into make-up and other girly stuff (but i am a girl),
There is this pair of pants I really want for 220 bucks, but I got a vivienne westwood skirt last year, which was nice and all, but I don’t want to keep getting clothing.
There isn’t really a limit, if my parents agree that I need or really want the thing the price won’t matter.

Well, if you really want to get to know her, go for it. Just strike up a casual conversation. If she mentioned liking your pants, give her a comment in return.
If you were snowboarding out of town, ask her where she’s from, and go from there. (:

So I have always wanted to go snowboarding, when I was younger I always thought I would be really good at it, but never got to go. Now the guy Im with wants to go this winter, he says hes taken two girls there before and the were horrible at it…anyway is it easy to learn? Whats the hardest part about it? also what all gear should I buy besides the pants and coat? And, where are some good places to get reasonably priced boards and gear? & anything else I need to know would be great. Thanks!
Yes, snowboarding is hard at first but once you go down the hill a few times you start to learn and it gets fun.
The hardest part in my opinion would be stopping but you can learn how to stop very well if you have someone teach you.
First of all, you need a board i would suggest buying a used board if its your first time because they are very cheap but still good. The bindings usually come with a used board. You may also need snowboarding boots, but if your not too serious you can just use some normal winter boots.
I would suggest getting lessons before you start actually snowboarding, but if your not up for that you can just have a friend help you learn.
So that’s basically snowboarding in a nutshell. Take it easy on the slopes and have fun!
Ok, I’ve been wanting to snowboard for a while now and I’ll be a beginner. Can someone tell me what it’s like to snowboard and to get cheap gear like pants and jackets (I’m going to rent a board, boots and bindings)? And can someone also help me find the right size snowboard for me? I’m a 17 year old girl, about 202 lbs and 5′7” thank you!!!
Oh yeah, I’ll be looking for goggles, gloves and hats too!
Your question is practically impossible.
1. the feeling of snowboarding differs by the day. Comparing it to music sometimes its like a heavy metal scream and others are like Beethoven. The way i say it is "Its hard to learn but fun to do"
2.ahh the infamous "cheap" gear. Shop around for QUALITY gear.
3.If your renting you dont need to know the board size. They are going to give you a 152 or a 155. somewhere in there.
